Can my employees cancel a shift?

Your Sona Account Owner has agreed and set up a cancellation policy for your business, send us a message on live chat if you'd like to know what your cancellation policy is.

This policy may restrict employees cancelling any type of shift or set a time restriction on how long before a shift starts that they can cancel

 

If your business allows employee cancellations;

• Employees will only be able to cancel Open Shifts

• You will be notified via email when one of your employees cancels a shift

 

If your business does not allow or restricts employee cancellations within a timeframe;

• Employees will receive a pop up warning when they try to cancel a shift which is customised to your business eg: "You cannot cancel shifts within 48 hours, please call 0123456789 to cancel this shift"
